Greene, Maine’s Aroma Joe’s location serves as both a neighborhood coffee shop and a welcoming community gathering space. Designed by ALPHAarchitects, the building is a social hub for the Androscoggin County community. It’s a place for neighbors and friends to connect and socialize. The final build includes a café and work area, along with a second unit planned for future rental use, all within an ADA-compliant layout that prioritizes accessibility and comfort.
This was a build from the ground up for the Hebert team, delivered over a six-month construction timeline from April to October 2025. The structure features framing lumber and trusses, LP Smart Siding, and storefront windows and doors, combining durability with a clean, modern aesthetic. Hebert self-performed exterior work, ensuring quality craftsmanship and close attention to detail throughout the build.
The project was completed in partnership with Aroma Joe’s ownership and management, continuing a strong relationship as a repeat client. A dedicated Hebert team, including a project manager, assistant project manager, superintendent, carpenters, and laborers, worked closely together to navigate scheduling and equipment coordination challenges. Clear communication and collaboration were key to delivering a successful project that supports both the client’s goals and the surrounding community.
