Wedgewood Block is a redevelopment in the heart of Lewiston, delivered by Hebert Construction as part of the city’s Choice Neighborhoods initiative. The project adds 82 new housing units across eight newly constructed buildings and one fully restored historic structure, transforming a once underutilized site into a vibrant residential community.

Originally built in the 1800s, the historic Wedgewood House was thoughtfully brought back to life alongside modern wood-framed buildings that prioritize health, energy efficiency, and long-term durability. The mix of one- to four-bedroom units includes ADA-accessible and hearing-impaired accommodations.

With complex phasing, tight turnover schedules, and nine structures to manage, this project demanded a high level of coordination and care. Hebert delivered on every front, bringing together expert planning, skilled craftsmanship, and a strong team to complete one of the most significant neighborhood transformations in recent Lewiston history.
