Dirigo Federal Credit Union in Scarborough is a renovation and addition project that transformed a long-vacant former auto parts building into a new 8,085-square-foot branch with two additional tenant spaces. Completed in 2025, the project breathed new life into an underused site while creating additional commercial opportunities in the area. Hebert Construction served as general contractor, continuing a long-standing relationship with Dirigo and supporting the buildout of another important branch for the credit union.

What stands out most is the level of detail packed into the project. From the complex metal roof and custom bent metal fascia to the mix of siding systems, the build required thoughtful coordination and skilled execution throughout. Inside, features like Douglas fir wood ceilings, natural light, and ADA-friendly spaces help create a branch that feels warm, polished, and built for everyday use.
